Dear Fellow Members:

The term of office of our Officers and Board Members for 2007-2009 is coming to an end on December 31, 2009. We now have to elect new sets of Officers and Board Members by June30, 2009 in order to provide 6 months training and transition time. The new sets of Officers and Board Members will take effect in January 1, 2010,

The nominations are now open for the following positions:

Executive Officers: President:

Vice President:

Secretary: Treasurer:

(8) Board of Directors:

(10) Committee Chairs will be appointed by the President elect and to be approved by the incoming board of directors.

Public Relations, Marketing, Finance, Membership, Website, Breakfast Mixers, Business Mixers/Expos, Events, Education & Training and Membership Wellness.

To determine if you are qualified to run for a position, please review the requirements and qualifications are listed below:

  1. To qualify as an Officer in the Chamber:
    • Should have been a Board of Director and held a position for at least for one year.
    • Should have been actively working as an officer or Board of Director for one year.
  2. To qualify as a Director in the Chamber:
    • Should have been a Committee Chair for at least for one year.
    • Should have been actively working as a Committee Chair for one year.
  3. To qualify as a Chairperson in the Chamber:
    • Should be a Member or Corporate Member for at least for one year.
    • Should have been actively working as a Member for one year.
  4. To qualify as an Assistant Committee Chair in the Chamber:
    • The President has the Executive privilege to appoint an assistant chairperson or any vacancy position.
    • Must have attended at least 1 membership/committee/special/emergency meeting within 2 months.
